Full localization across all 10 languages

i18n

Mictoo now speaks all 10 supported languages end to end, not just the marketing pages. Trust chips, sidebar navigation, the converter drop zone, and the transcript download menu are all localized. Homepage previews and metadata (og:locale, JSON-LD inLanguage, correct html lang) match each locale for better SEO and screen reader accuracy. Storage limit and translation language counts are updated site-wide (180 MB per file, 36 target languages).

Bigger files via auto-split (registered users)

newfeature

Signed-in users can now upload files up to 180 MB. Files larger than 60 MB are auto-split into 2-3 chunks, transcribed in parallel, then stitched back into one transcript with continuous timestamps. Each chunk uses one of your daily transcript credits (visible as a πŸͺ™ counter in the header).

A confirmation dialog shows the credit cost before the file uploads, so you decide before committing. Heads up: chunk boundaries today are hard time cuts, so a word or two may be lost at the seam; silence-aware splits are on the way.

See your daily balance and limit rules on the account page.

Chat with your transcript (sign-in required)

newfeature

Ask questions about any transcript you've created and get answers cited with clickable timestamps that jump to that moment in the audio. Three suggested prompts get you started: "Summarize the key points", "Pull out action items", "Find a memorable quote". Or type your own.

Paste a YouTube link, get a transcript

newyoutube

You no longer need to download the video first. Paste any YouTube URL on /youtube-to-text or /transcribe-video-to-text and the transcript comes back in a couple of seconds with timestamps, an AI summary, and copy/export to TXT, SRT, VTT, or DOCX.

If the video has no captions, we'll send you to the download-and-upload guide so you can still get the text.
